a little about me…

I am a Writer, Artist, and Educator with varying experience and degrees in design, writing, and teaching. In 2016 I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design at Pratt Institute, then went on to earn my Masters in Fine Arts at Western Connecticut State University for Creative and Professional Writing, with concentrations in Children’s Literature and Copywriting. In 2021 I topped it all off with my Master of Arts in Teaching at Brown University. Since, I have been teaching English and pursuing my love of writing.

Although my background in creative and professional writing can lend to any project, I love writing for children! I work with kids, I understand kids, and sometimes I think of myself as just a big kid with an adult life! My voice lends to strong Middle Grade and Young Adult audiences.
